Pre-Departure Orientation is a special event held annually by EducationUSA. This is a unique opportunity for students who have been admitted to U.S. colleges and universities for fall 2020 to meet other students and find out everything you need to know about how to be successful in the U.S. during your studies!
This year’s virtual PDO will be in the form of three different sessions, each from 6:00-7:30pm on the evenings of August 11, 12, and 13. The program will include:
– academic life in the US
– useful tips on travel and living in the U.S.
– campus life
– cultural differences and adjustment
– what to expect and how to adjust your plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic
In order to receive all of the necessary content, participants should plan to attend all three sessions.
